Nice article in todays nytimes about the diminishing threat of al quaeda in indonesia, phillipines, malaysia and the rest of Southeast asia. Good news for a change.

It is excellent news. But I'd like to see a little credit where credit is due. I think I mentioned in another post -- yesterday on CNN they went on for five minutes about how the AQ threat was diminished, but never once mentioned Bush's name in association with it.

The man has been bashed from one end to the other -- for going to Iraq "instead" of going after AQ. For "losing his focus". For "forgetting who attacked us".

Well, maybe it is time for some of these people to start eating a little crow.
