No, just showing you that its not as tough as you implied to get on SSI.

As for the "total disability", I think you'd have to see how the military defines that. I think its based on his condition when discharged.

Hum, I know that's not how SS works. So essentially you could be totally disabled for a week and get disability for the rest of your life? Doesn't sound right to me.


How SS works is irrelevant - he's not on SSI disability.

That would be interesting if true. Because he had flight status and led a squadron before he retired in 1981.

I guess requirements for that are lower than I thought.
