i appreciate the feedback and there is no offense taken by me.... IMO Valero is one of those stocks like the others i mentioned that you hasve to ignore the ST/IT cycles and bag the stock for the LT. even with the present frenzy about crude the underlying factors that drive their earnings will re-appear in due time. i have no idea when hence the very LT position. i know the chart looks quite ill but i figure now is as good an entry as any especially since i have the cash. what it does from now until december doesn't matter to me until i plan the next purchase for this particular acct. best joe
