Looks like a good post, however, this part is in error.

"If this is not possible, become even closer to God by taking your own life, and live the rest of eternity as a clean soul."

That does not solve the immediate problem... the oil dependence of the human race. The solution only comes from a change of behavior. The oil supply is not infinite, and a good part of our food supply is based on oil derived products. Not an ideal situation. Especially if Putin & co, and the Arabian states have overall control over supply.

Hey, I just bought a multi fuel stove and stored two tons of coal in my basement, the smokey kind of coal as I don't live in a smokeless zone.

I don't believe the Chinese should be the only ones burning coal.

Keeping a clean planet is cool though, and I am willing to change behaviour. Past evolution has indicated change is usually necessary.

Don't be a head in the sand denialist!

Poor America! Al Gore vented a VP for Obama! selecting Gore would send a message that America was "really serious" about environment and energy issues.

ELMAT: Those whom the Gods want to destroy, first make them crazy.

(This how the Romans would call someone crazy)

"That would send a signal to the world, to American people, to Congress, to everybody, that America's getting serious about this horrendous problem that we face," he said.

Former Vice President Gore has not ruled out a return to politics though has always indicated he would want to return as president.

The mercurial Carville is highly respected within Democratic party circles for his role as chief political strategist for the successful presidential campaign of then Arkansas governor Bill Clinton.
