On demand hot water and in floor heating is an inexpensive way to heat your house and supply hot water.

You don't want on demand hot water when you are charged for demand. On demand water heaters must heat the water much faster than storage tank heaters, thus they draw a large amount of current for a shorter time. But you pay for that demand no matter how short the time.
