Of course not. That's why when I say McCain was shot down while bombing Vietnamese villages, captured, supposedly tortured and confessed to being a "black air pirate" and a "war criminal", it isn't any sort of smear.

Call it what you want. It is an attack on his military service and something that only the lowest scum of the earth would do.
