There are plenty of real problems that can be solved which will make a difference to the upcoming energy crisis but carbon trading and CO2 sequestration have little impact on the real problems and offer no solution. Nothing 'upcoming' about the energy crisis; it's here. There is a lot of denial out there but when any commodity is up 600%+ in a short period of time then we need to see, not tomorrow, right now. We've lost 7 years to my reckoning. I'm not going to complain about the GW alarmists... they add fuel to the fire. It might lead to some wayward investments but in the end people will realize that the inefficient 'energy clients' (oil using devices) are the solution. You start (heavily) disincenting inefficiency (SUVs) and incenting efficiency (Toyota Prius) and you are on your way to a solution. Just MHO.
