I am harshly critical of McCain but I do think he's sincere.
I think he believes what he says when he says it.

I am taking him at his word. He says no ANWR. I believe him.

Further, I don't he is convinced that he has to take a stand against the environmentalist wackos who oppose drilling anywhere, anytime, anyhow.

If he is looking for their vote, he will be disappointed.
