I imagine that is most likely. Whoever they were they weren't thinking things through very well and could have killed several people.

We had one some years back here where some 16 year old punk dropped a 16lb bowling ball off an over pass on the interstate. Went through a guys windshield and crushed his chest killing him on his first retirement trip in his new motorhome. Wife was able to herd the rig to the side of the road and stop it to prevent more carnage. Kid got nothing due to his age. He couldn't appreciate the damage he might cause.

I wrote a letter to the editor after he got slapped on the wrist and said either A this little monster should be doing jail time for murder or B the little jerk should be summarily shot for being to stupid to live and reproduce if he honestly didn't think someone going 70 hitting a 16 pound object wasn't dangerous.

To my surprise they printed it minus the reproduce and it set off quite the storm but I would say I had 70/30 in my corner.

Sounds like it to me. A "Seniors" prank would be my guess. They are in a heap of trouble, I'll tell you that. I just came from that area and today they have all north bound traffic on Wadsworth Parkway closed. Merchants along that stretch are virtually out of business as it's a divided highway and south bound traffic can't get across the median.

On top of this, we now have small grass fires burning it several nearby areas. I live about 5 miles from a regional airport and I've had the slurry bomber fly over 3 or 4 times this morning. If you're aware, they don't fly a foot higher in altitude than absolutely necessary, conserving fuel. It rattles the house.

I hope not, but probably is....doing that and getting caught will make their lives just a mess for years. They are lucky no one got killed....
