GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: June 12, 2008 Independence Hub production has jumped up to nearly 450 MMcf/d today from 268 MMcf/d in yesterday's I2 cycle. Despite a slow start this week, the Hub now appears to be making its typical rapid rise back to normal production levels following an outage. Prior to the outage production averaged about 890 MMcf/d. Total Gulf production has climbed to 11.2 Bcf/d. The end of maintenance in STX on Tetco at the Angleton compressor has allowed production to increase by 146 MMcf/d today. Nautilus is still struggling.

US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: June 12, 2008 US power burn dropped almost 7 Bcf over the past 3 days, landing at 21.6 Bcf in total.All regions showed a decrease today with the Northeast decreasing the most, down 885 MMcf.US power burn is up 20% this June compare to June 2007.Burn for the week ending today is forecasted as 178 Bcf, 34 Bcf more than the week ending 6/5.
