I doubt that: < Iran ... is the largest funder of terrorism.> The war in Iraq isn't really
"terrorism", it's a war, though there has been a lot of internecine terrorist attack and carnage of a Serb vs Srebenica type. Overall, Saudi Arabia seems to be the source of more funds for terrorist activities than anywhere else.

They certainly have the cash flow to be world champions, they have the ideological basis, they have the world champion terrorists [though Egyptians played an important part] = Osama and co [who is more Saudi than Yemeni]. Osama made the IRA look like pathetic amateurs, though the IRA did a big bang at Brighton which scored a bulls-eye on the government. But it was just some IRA scum with dynamite. Osama wrote an unbelievable script, carried out on a bright blue day, all as seen real-time on TV and many video recordings.

The London, Spanish and other Moslem attacks weren't Iranian-backed as far as I know. The Iranian efforts are more localized and geopolitical on a regional basis [Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, perhaps with some efforts inside Saudi Arabia and elsewhere].
