OK, well I do agree that Obama MAY have some character issues relative to those associations, but we truly can't know this. OTOH, it seems to me that in terms of character and competence, the last eight years of relatively unfettered 'conservatism'.....at least conservatism as practiced by the Bush administration.....has been so unsuccessful as to cause many to question whether or not continued loyalty to the GOP is warranted. I think it will be a very healthy LT event to send the GOP to the woodshed for awhile and let it reincarnate itself. IMO, I'm coming to believe that one of the sad ironies is that the GOP under Bush hasn't even been net good for one of its core constituencies....business.
