Yes, we heard Obama say that $4gal gas doesn't bother him...he merely wished the cost had gradually increased. His expense account as a US senator makes the cost of gas a non-issue for the Obamessiah. US voters won't take kindly to a president who wants them to pay more but use less gas...live in colder houses...eat less food--it sounds like Castro's Cuba. Obama's definitely not fit for command or domestic issues.

Democrats are responsible for today's price of gas and tomorrow's higher price of gas:

foxnews.com

Democrats held their own series of events on Capitol Hill Wednesday to focus attention on global warming and energy independence, but drilling is not on the agenda. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said Tuesday ongoing calls for more drilling "is the Johnny One-Note of the Republican Party."

That is not a good example. An energy policy during the past 30 years would be a good example. Something neither party cared about.

Maybe a good example then would be to tax attorneys to discourage
lawsuits...

Europe is a good example. They tax gasoline high enough to discourage its use.

China & India are gobbling up as much oil as possible right now as their economies boom. Why should Americans use less and thereby ruin their economy?
