Personally, I think its the Democrats "secret" plan to run gas prices so high that people will HAVE to get away from the gas driven vehicle and natural gas heated house. Don't think so. They want the price high, at least through the November voting. They believe that the MSM will help them blame Bush for this fiasco. They want the voters to buy their lie that they (the democrats) are innocent in these price hikes for gas. So far, the president has done little to dispel that notion. He has not been near vocal enough on the issue. The republicans had better get serious or any advantage they have with the Iraq surge will be lost to the economic cost of oil to the consumer. McCain has been of little help so far. He seems to be on another wave length.
