It's like hearing that Mercedes is buying GM, it seems like it just could not happen. Bud is just such a giant here in the US, that it seems like no one could be big enough to buy them.

One would have to wonder if there would be a redneck backlash to having a Euro owner for "America's beer," with spillover into the rest of America. Then again, AB probably employs tens of thousands here in the US, so how does that play out?
