slacker711; We are talking about over a trillion dollars worth of oil lying in the ground and there is a certaint point where the economics just swamp the environmental concerns. Every time? See I just don't agree here. I agree with the old saying .....you don't piss in your own teepee. Before we sell our soul for oil - just because its lots of money - let's take away some of the benefits already given to big oil. And I'm not suggesting a windfall profit tax, although I'm getting closer to being in favor of one given the clamor over the need to drill everywhere. steve
