Yes, the attacks on Obama will be a whack-a-mole process. As each one is defused, there will be no retractions.....the half-truth is just left hanging out there. This weekend, I stopped to watch Obama trying to answer/respond to something of no real consequence (can't remember what it was) and I wished he could just throw up his hands, say "whatever" and walk away. Not dignify it with a response. These attacks coming from an ever-dimishing GOP are no more than annoying gnats, IMO. Living here in GOP heartland, my sense is that anyone who would fall into the swing voter category has had their fill of it. The electorate has matured and the numbers of people who 'can be fooled all the time' is diminishing, I think......I hope. :<)
