e had a discussion awhile ago with the conclusion that it'd be hard to prove that there was intentional deception.

Frankly, BB, it's about as hard to prove as Nixon's guilt was prior to the tapes appearing that proved it even to most of his diehard supporters.

The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. It is only hard to prove if one is really really stubborn, stupid or completely partisan.

All JMHO, of course.

I guess it's better to be forward looking.

Its not just the Iraq invasion.

Its:

Torture
Rendition
Plame
Corruption
No-bid contracts
Stove-piping intel
Supreme Executive powers

I don't think a healthy, functioning republic needs to simply accept these things and move on.
