In your opinion, do you think that telling the truth about a political opponent, about a matter that may put him in an unfavorable light, is right-wing Islamo-fascist fear-mongering tactics or not?

I believe that 'truth for truth's sake' is the purview of academics and that every utterance in the political arena has political intent behind it.

I put this particular utterance in the fear-mongering category aimed at those who believe the US is somehow in real danger from whoever and whatever that group deemed 'Islamo-fascist terrorists' is.

right-wing Islamo-fascist fear-mongering tactics

Didn't mean to butt in but couldn't help observe that all the words in that phrase are accurate and legitimate

The right wing would like to attack Obama ;Hamas is Islamo-fascist and endorsed Obama ; highlighting the Hamas endorsement is Fear mongering and is standard accepted procedure in campaigns (cf 3 AM ad)

The problem maybe with juxtaposing all of them. Or that race and religion are incendiary issues and will get played up by the media regardless

Or may just be the fact that there are way too many hyphens in there! ;-)
