Must be your part of the country. I don't hear any talk like that in California. Everyone here is voting for Obama.

Ugh, sorry to hear that, although actually my own 92 year old mother has said a couple of times that she will vote for McCain. Some of her commentary was slightly racial but not in a mean way. It was along the lines of 'the country isn't ready for a black President', although she couldn't really explain what that meant. I won't press the issue, esp. at her age, but I have a feeling that she will change her mind with the first Obama-McCain debate. However, if Romney is VEEP, she probably will vote Republican.....she likes Romney. She had her heart set on Hillary.
