MSNBC just mentioned that the latest WSJ poll indicated that in the three months since McCain became the apparent nominee, his Favorables DROPPED 10 points and his Unfavorables climbed 7%. He had a clear field to begin defining himself while Hillary and Obama went at it tooth and nail, and he lost ground.

Chuck Todd also mentioned that McCain needs 35-40% of Hispanics while he's getting less than 30% now.

BP;

His campaign needs to filter his schedule to ensure he hangs in there physically for 5 months

If he can't handle the rigors of the campaign - why should he be elected president? The stress of being president could be far greater than running all alone while Obama and Hillary beat each other silly.
