Certainly fits in with the ELM and Peak oil....Refineries have to pay up to lock up supplies. Points to prices up due to supply/demand, not speculation. As an aside, it also means that refiners capable of refining heavy and sour oils are going to prosper in the future, those dependant on light are gonna get squeezed to the sideline. This allows us to stratify between future refinery winners (VLO, FTO) and losers (SUN, WNR, BP).
