The Democrats will likely control the next SC proceedings. So, it's quite possible in an effort to be liked by the media and seen as a "get along with the opposition", President he could select anyone.

The person who authored McCain/Feingold has little core conservative principles. Statements and words to the contrary are just hot air.

Our country is in real trouble with two Global Warming eco-zealots running for President controlling the bully pulpit. Unless conservatives rise up in force and let Congress know what we think about the issue, we're driving a train toward a cliff at high speed sitting in the Caboose, hoping the conductor finds the brake pedal.
