Good luck with that.

I'd simply like to see an end to earmarks. Very few people in the Senate or the House would be for it, though. Everyone there is expected to bring home the bacon by his or her constituents.

I agree, but both parties would put in exceptions. The (R)'s would insist on breaking the budget for any war that fit their fancy, and the (D)'s would insist on breaking the budget for economic downturns.

I'd like one with absolutely NO exceptions.
