It's possible that once we have ad administration that isn't preaching the total existential war line all the time and taking extraconstitutional steps that the court is asked to uphold, the court could turn to more mundane affairs and behave more moderately.

We'll see.

Remember when he was first appointed Chief and publicly stated his goal was to 'lead' the Court to more unanimous or close to unanimous decisions? I don't recall his giving any explanation for it and at the time I was left feeling uneasy by the possible ramifications of what could be behind this in terms of his mindset.

I recall thinking that was a rather creepy notion at the time, too.
