Steph and other Leftwing commentators evidently believe that the country will just be "ga-ga" for their accomplish-not-much-40-something-candidate. Rush may be right...and boy are they going to hate that! Rush has said we can't talk about: --his mother --his grandmother --his wife (even though she engages the press and actually does public speaking for Obama) --his pastor of twenty some years....(you know, the one who married Obama and his wife, baptized his children, gave sermons like "G-D-America" and other little ditties like that) --his new pastor, who speaks passages similar to the one before him --his attachment to Farrakhan of Black Panther and Nation of Islam fame --his dealings with Bill Ayres, who as a member of the Weathermen of the infamous 60-70's radicals, now dressed up in a suit and tie, and says "he wishes he had done more" when asked about bombing the Pentagon --and of course, then there is how and who actually helped him fund his new house and part of the yard....fellow named Rezko who has just been indicted on 16 counts.... And I'm pretty sure there will be more ETC'S! I can see not dissing Michelle, unless she decides to enter the political fray....then there is no reason she can be either praised if she speaks truth, and no reason people can't be critical of her speech if she doesn't. WE NEED to be able to know what Obama stands for, and WHAT he has done to help this country. As far as we can see now, he's pretty much a handsome fellow, who orates well, but says not much of anything substantial, so in effect, he is another empty suit. We have way too many of those in DC already. And as one further thought....What IF we substitute Obama's name for George W. Bush's name....Had GWB taken a beating in the media of all kinds for the last 7+ years and has the media and all the political creatures have even noticed or cared that our President was being smeared on a daily basis? There are AMPLE examples if they don't think so! Grow up Obama, and deal with the questions. Will you turn blue if anyone in the world questions your judgment or knowledge on an issue and whine to the press about it? Or will you too send missiles to tents in the ME...? and do nothing to avoid another 9-11 or worse? And will you and your party continue to stonewall any energy drilling or new refineries as you have for the last 40 years, and then have the unmitigated gall to blame it on the Republicans.... Talk about attacks that aren't true.....we can find MANY MANY examples of the trash that has been tossed around for the last 7+ years.
