Of course we'll eventually run out of oil, and are we reaching the peak? Maybe we have 200 yrs left, maybe not. Several International companies are finding and exploiting fields all the time, but the one thing oil experts, and you and me know.........demand will not slow, but will in fact grow until we turn the corner on hybrid and other fuels.

And that is another issue: the hoarding of our own oil. It doesn't make sense to me. The left uses the environment as an excuse for not drilling in Anwar, but we are the most technologically advanced nation on Earth, and are quite good at taking all precautions. If we can turn huge garbage dumps into parks when we're through with them, we can certainly reclaim Anwar to its natural state when we've drained the field.

I think we're all looking forward to the day when demand for oil goes the way of Whale oil. Let's hope this hoarding doesn't bankrupt the world before it does.

And I don't think there is any doubt that oil producing nations are keeping as much as their product in storage as possible....including us.......no giggle.
