Amen. The idea that we can't deal with this issue without taking our fundamental system of justice apart brick by brick is absurdity born from fear.

It seems to be coming down to whether the DTA created by Congress satisfactorily replaced the federal courts in granting hearings and determining status.

Which, of course, we've had no news about. It's not like there was a report published each month telling us how many hearings were held and how many of which status resulted. A cynic would assume that there had been none.
