It would also be very helpful if our President would lend some leadership and moral support of conservation with suggestions of what individuals could do. He might also propose a national speed limit of 55 as Carter did in the 70's. Instead he loosened the mpg requirements for new cars and stretched the date when new targets had to be met. He is very quick to call for new drilling however....as if drilling has stopped for the last 40 years while US production steadily dropped.

Heaven forbid that you should think.....but the increase in CO2 is fairly easy to calculate if you know how much fossil fuel is being burned. So don't worry you won't have to think..
