By how much has demand declined worldwide, then? And in which countries?

You post this long list of headlines, most of which are about electricity shortages. One story is about a shortage caused by truck drivers who are upset about the high price of fuel in the UK. Am I supposed to dig through all the irrelevant stories to find the few that support your point?

Here's an idea, if you want to show that there are actual shortages, why don't you just post the relevant data?
