Lew, The labels are easy, but silly. The great majority of all Americans are conservative on some subjects and liberal on others. The real scary ones are the ones who are foaming on the mouth for war, yet big spenders at home, ala LBJ. Bush fits that mode, though his big spending at home only benefits his base, not Americans, in general.
