Oh dear. The loss of a pet is so hard. The grief that we bear is the price we have to pay for all the love we got.

Carolyn, I am so sorry for your loss. Even though we suspect it is soon to be their time to leave us, it is still hard to accept. The loss of their love and companionship can be overwhelming.

I'm so very sorry. Knowing she loved you and that she knew you loved her too, will help the pain subside. Just remember all the fun and funny things she did....Doesn't sound like it helps, but it really does.

You may want to spend some time with your grandkids. The new life helps overcome the sadness of death. The cycle of life thing. Wife's mother died and I took her out to where some new foals were romping. Helped her a lot.

Feel good thing. Country Western Reba was in town last week and old guy Ron paid the $75 a seat to take his grandaughter to see her. Ron's wife died last year and they were a joined at the hip couple and he has lost 50 pounds since she died.

During the concert the lady who played Barbra Jean on Reba's TV show singled out Ron and called him Big Ron. Reba called him Big Ron. When the concert was over the people called him Big Ron. Next day on Country Music TV they were talking about Big Ron. Gave him a boost.
