And if that happens that is a process that creates multiple life forms when there was once one.

Separate is also vague because the group of cells that are splitting from a conception cannot under current technology, continue to exist alive by themselves.

They need a supportive environment, it doesn't change the fact that you have a new life form.

The sperm is a life form.
The egg is a life form.


They might be the borderline case, you could consider them separate life forms. But mostly they are, like the skin cells we talked about before, part of another life form that can continue to live separate from it for a short time. And whether or not you consider them separate the fetus, and even the zygote is clearly a new life form.

When you want to decide the significance of a life form, or if you think it is a person, then you need philosophy and or theology. But just "life form" is pretty much biology.
