I know a lot about apple and anybody that shorts apple on Jobs health is really naive. There is this perception that apple cannot survive without jobs and that was true in 1995 but is no longer true. Jobs could keel over tomorrow and Apple would still have 3 huge dominant franchises to build on- apple today is in no different a place than MSFT in the early 90s- the fact is that huge companies grow and die based on one or in MSFTs case 2 franchises (windows and office)- Apple has 3. Jobs was fired in 1985 at apple and Scully carried on for 7+ profitable years after that.
