I've managed to keep total cholesterol to 100 or less for the last 18 months with the LDL component in the mid to low 50's.

Good for you! Hope things work out. BTW, "Total Cholesterol" is the "cheap lab way" out for checking it. Make sure you get a lipid panel that gives you more accurate numbers on your LDL, Triglycerides, and LDL. Look for "60/60/60" across. You won't be there, but it's a good goal.

To those of you who are saying, "what's with all this damn medical crap, I read here for politics!", I intend for this to be my last post on the subject here. I will post my personal meds, with sources and places to buy, on the end of the header later today.
