I know that Mike Ash had been ill and did not sound well the last time I talked to him almost a year ago. From last observation, Threshie appeared to have gone 'round the bend' and was snarling and snapping at anything that moved. Dogged determination has admirable traits, but making your bones somewhere else and then coming back to complete a previously stalled project would seem to have been a better plan. The technology still has lots of merit if someone steps in to rescue it; carbon black, polyester, and high-strength tire cord steel scrap gets more valuable every day. The 6 month chart looks like nothing but old flippers doing their 'perch on the dock' gyrations. Another cryo technology with promise, but whiz-poor marketing, is 300 Below: 300below.com .
