LB, I had a chance to discuss CT calcium scanning with one of my interventional cardiologists - a real serious plumber, puts stents in people every day. He answered without hesitation that in his opinion there is enough data confirming a correlation between the calcium score and coronary problems. He thinks it is a valid modality and it is here to stay.

So, fwiw, your side is getting support from the "mainstream".... :)
