Having said that, you do know that the nazis considered the Jews enemies of the German state, The US has taken about 770 detainees to Gitmo, released about 500, still have 270 there. The 500 released were mostly cleared and released, a few transferred to their home countries. Doesn't mean all the releasees were innocent - about 60 some have returned to the fight in Afghanistan and some have been killed doing that. But most were considered no major danger so released. Now re your analogizing the US as the moral equivalent of Nazi Germany, how many Jews did the Nazis clear and release? ----------------------------------------------------------- I suppose in nazi Germany when some German defended the rights of the Jews, they were told they were unGerman and unpatriotic. Sort of like the demonizing lies the Nazis told about the Jews in fact. But liberals tend to see America like that.
