Japanese police arrest four in Lehman fraud case

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Japanese police have arrested four men on suspicion of defrauding Lehman Brothers of around 9.8 billion yen ($91 million) using faked documents of Japanese trading firm Marubeni Corp. , according to news service reports. Those arrested include a former president of a Tokyo medical consultancy and a former Marubeni employee, according to the reports. Lehman and other investors provided funds totalling around 108 billion yen, thinking the money would be used for hospital restructuring projects. Some of the money has been returned, but nearly 50 billion yen has yet to be returned the reports noted

Achtung! Lehman reporting in a few.

SP Futures dropped ahead of the three. But this is a GE issue, not a Lehman issue. GE downgraded.
