Raising the MPG requirements on new cars (essentially, eliminating the rights of automobile buyers to drive WTF they want to drive) does not contribute to a long-term solution of the problem.

Of course it does. Virtually everything about autos is regulated including MPG. What country do you live in?

Have you ever read anything quite so insane? People like him have controlled this country for so long, he thinks what he is saying is perfectly normal thinking!

I stand by my statement.

The only long-term solution is to eliminate the use of fossil fuels altogether.
