If we look at the more recent record, you can see where the end of the Little Ice Age, the rise in temperatures and the increase in CO2 level all coincide with the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution. Now, it could be just a liberal conspiracy.

It ended long before the industrial revolution really got going or any significant output of co2 or any other gases. There is little agreement over the warming from 1850 to 1950.

Maybe there is little agreement over the warming from 1850 to 1950 but there is no doubt that the increase in CO2 coincided with the advent of the industrial revolution:

Coincidently, global temps began to rise as well. Coincidence? There are many who believe there is no such thing as coincidence.

"It ended long before the industrial revolution really got going or any significant output of co2 or any other gases. "

Sigh.

There was a local minima as late as 1850. Not exactly a good definition of "ended long before the industrial revolution really got going". In fact, 1850 is a really good definition of when "the industrial revolution really got going".

"There is little agreement over the warming from 1850 to 1950."

Amongst right wing bloggers that might be the case.
