I actually have more faith in humanity than you do. I believe we are very adaptable and can take on any real challenges posed by the environment. Even if global warming turns out to be a truly "imminent threat," I believe we have the resources and the willpower to counter it. However, unlike you, I believe in actual debate. You on the other hand would rather cut off debate, declare your own side to be the winner, and move forward with all sorts of socialism that denies our freedoms in pursuit of some made up emergency. You want to debate the obvious into paralysis. You have not uttered a single positive sentence in favor of the adaptive technologies you claim to be for. And the reason is your avarice. You wouldn't lift a pinky finger to help that fellow human you have so much faith in. Al
