Show me a comparison between 2008 and 1850 where there is no difference and then you might have a case.

All the warming occurred before we put much into the air and then contrary to all theories of CO2 driven warming it declined from the 40-80's during the largest growth in CO2 - odd. That said it does all align with sun activity - which is in decline now as well.

I don't have a science background ...

and neither does al gore.
