I'd suggest the housing deflation cycle will last six years . . . just as it always does.

This period of time is dictated by human emotions. It takes that long before desperation and despair finally beat out hope beyond hope and people throw in the towel.

Even the "Boom of the 1880s" in Southern California took six years to fully unwind. The only common factor is human emotion.
