That might have been the 60 Minutes piece on a remote part of New Guinea with untouched rain forest.

It just has the most magnificent forests,birds and wild life. Takes days to get there paddling up rivers and then getting a helicopter. It is also a rain forest.

It can make a deep impression. Naturalists often wax bordering on religious about their first trips to a pristine rainforest.

But the more I learn about Nature, about Chaos, fractals, emergence and its other deep secrets - a mere patch of grass, I think, deserves the same reverence. :-)
