Sorry to hear that. As I said in a subsequent post to ML, my own guess is that once the administration turns over after the general election, a lot of folk at the Pentagon whose job it was to monitor these contracts, will come out of the woodwork. Assuming that means their jobs are no longer threatened should they do so.

Several important books on the whole business of private contractors, their ties with specific folk in the Bush administration, how much money was simply squandered in Iraq, and so on.

Gore had an interesting rhythm going in his speech last night, based on the notion "elections count." Here's one more way they do.
