I think most Americans would say that the tie between the US and Israel is unbreakable. However, they are a sovereign nation and should be responsible for themselves. We shouldn't treat them like a 51st state. They don't have a right to our aid when that aid subverts our own national interest. Right now, I think we've been way to imbalanced in our dealings in the Middle East. It's time for some diplomacy over there. War can't be the only answer we have for anything that goes wrong over there.
