KLP: Is this a modern version of Gullible's Travels?

I have taken the liberty of changing the principal character's name from Asahara to Obama. It seems entirely appropriate to do so. So, my version of your quote is:

". . .when someone comes along, like Obama, the head of the cult, and presents himself as a messiah and gives us a picture of progress that is ordained by heaven and that we are carrying out a saintly mission on earth, that is for us extraordinarily evocative.”

We seem to be in need of some additional Gullivers in order to be able to deal with the Gullibles of the world. Winnie the Pooh will no doubt agree with me.

Mr Danzig told the Centre for New American Security: “Winnie the Pooh seems to me to be a fundamental text on national security.”

How a supposed grownup with experience in high level office could let such a sentence come out of his mouth (never mind what it's supposed to mean) just boggles my mind.

Read the rest of the article about the motivations of Al Qaeda, and spot the missing word. Hint: begins with "I" ends with "M".

He says violence lets the adrenaline flow; it’s like sex, you live in the moment.

The addictive power of violence is why it is so extensively marketed in games, movies, and TV.
