The earth warmed up 1900-1940, when hardly anyone was driving cars. And now that CO2 is twice as high, the whole planet is cooling! Somehow I don't think CO2 is the devil-gas you people claim it is.

...what's wrong with burning less fossil fuels whether there's GW or not? What's wrong with that? Only that it would send your German friends right into a serious recession. No fossil fuel burning, no new nuke plants and with a firm program for switching off the existing nukes in place... Now man of divined wisdom, could you tell me how that situation could be solved?
