I can't get my mind around a contribution that would exceed the harm done by someone like Tsutomu Miyazaki. For example, if he invented a technology that would eliminate 90% of future train wrecks (even if my mother were on one of those saved trains) it does nothing to resolve his crimes or to reconcile him with me. Again, what he did wasn't simple cheating or rule breaking for personal benefits at a cost to the rest of us.

I have the 'as he has done to one of us, he has done to all of us' outlook.
